The MC12 Corsa comes equipped with a 6-liter V12 engine giving its driver full control over 744 horsepower probably coming straight from hell. Compared to the “common” MC12, this MC12 CORSA has 121 horsepower more. But keep in mind: The MC12 is street legal without any mods. This MC 12 Corsa had to be modified pretty badly in order to be allowed on German roads .

The mad guy willing to invest almost a quarter million in order to be able to drive this on publich roads is German Maserati Customer Hubert Haupt, which grabbed his MC 12 Corsa with the serial number 0001. I wonder how people look at the driver and the car when they see this piece of art rolling next to the tramway . Hubert Haupt had to invest 200,000 euro to get this car approved by the German Tüv. User handy-girl1 is selling her fully Ferrari 360 Modena converted Honda NSX. The interiour and exteriour has been completely rebuilt to match its idol. According to the seller, the car is completely built of aluminium and carbon which makes it a very light copycat at only 1300 kg (2866 pds).

It’s surely looking great. Great piece of work and well done by the mechs working on this NSX. The seller also points out that this NSX based Ferrari 360 Modena immitation doesn’t cost half as much as a real Ferrari since the V-Tec engine isn’t really a gas guzzler at 25mpg. He might be right on that one.

With only 94 thousand kilometers on the clock, it should be also a funny toy on racedays. You can grab it at eBay Switzerland. It’s currently at 33.000€, which should be a bargain considering the amount of work put into the car and the currently cheap Euro.

Road and Track shows us how they think the Model S will look.

It really looks like Tesla’s Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen (ex Mazda) brought some inspiration to Tesla. Although I also think this speculation looks more like a Nissan GT-R and 350Z crossover.

Despite what it remembers me of, it’s definitely looking good, it’s looking pretty good.

But is this the real deal? Tesla’s Chairman Elon Musk recently teased the rear part of the upcoming sedan to BusinessWeek.

I don’t know, judging from the left rear lamp, it’s pretty much looking like a 350Z. Still, there’s some time to improve since the car won’t be fully developed until mid-2009 and is expected to run off the line somewhen in early 2011.

While the GranTurismo MC Concept car sheds 400 kgs, Maserati also boosted the engine about 10 HP. It’s a lot more more but considering that the car weighs 400 kgs fewer, you can expect that the performance-feeling will be a complete new one.

Only the car body stayed the same as in the original GranTurismo. The rest of the car got totally over-worked. By the use of light-weight components, the engeneers reduced the weight of the car. Instead of 1935 kgs, the car weights now only about 1400 kgs. The interior lost the most of the equipment. Now the cockpit consists of a simple wheel, two seats and the essential controls.

The aerodynamic got also revised. The front is equipped with a larger air supplier in the bumper and the hood has an additional air supply tunnel as well. The sideskirts are wider than before and the guys from Maserati added a bigger rear wing for better downforce.

Maserati has not yet published additional technical details about the MC Concept’s performance. It’s also still unknown if this concept car will ever go into mass production.

This race-prepped Evolution X by ADR Motorsport is going to compete among Porsches and M3’s in the Brittish endurance race series called Britcar piloted by former BTCC pro James Kaye and two other still undisclosed drivers.

ADR, the company that did the workover for this 400hp beauty, is the same company which already has two other works Evo’s racing in the Brittish Rally Championship. They pretty sure know what they are doing.

You can expect this ADR Evolution X to compete in the full series of the coming 2009 Brittish Endurance Racing Series. Mitsubishi exec’s are also considering an own Evolution race series if this ADR machine meets the expectations.

I think they may as well just start planning of their their racing series right away. Standart Evolution specs are already amazing for the price Mitsubishi asks. I see much much worser cars racing around the tracks every single week. Why shouldn’t Mitsubishi do this?

The German city of Stuttgart is now in possession of two completely modded Porsche Cayenne V6 (outputting 290hp) emergency vehicles. It comes with new sirens, lights, speachers, GPS-navigation and communication-equipment. Lets just hope that the doctors don’t get too excited about their shiny new Cayennes and eventually forget their medical equipment at the hospital.

Those blue emergency lights are not only placed at the front and at the back. There are also several warning lights placed on the side of the vehicle to assure that other drivers will notice the emergency vehicle at a crossroad. The siren also takes use of lower frequencies additional to the usual sound. It assures that the Cayenne gets noticed sooner than other vehicles. Both systems are still being tested and will be evaluated after a period of time.

Of course, these shiny emergency vehicles are not exactly the reason why the common European has better health care compared to a common US-inhabitant. But this is a site about supercars, not about US-health care.

I think this Camaro is looking great, besides from being just a big 2006 Hamann BMW M6 ripoff. Those horrible lambo-doors which by the way are not even being used by Lamborghini anymore aren’t looking good either.

Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich from Audi Motorsport was skeptical about the development of a GT3 version of the R8. But popular demand (and money, of course) seems to convince anyone.

This new beast is internally named “R16″ and is being tested on the track right now. Instead of the all-wheel quattro drive that usually comes with the stock R8, the R8 “R16″ will only get power delivered to its rear end. The power delivered by the V8 is kept at 500 hp. But it’s now managed by a 6 speed sequential clutch. Race-Safety features like a roll cage are also added.

The R16 also comes with an aerodynamicly optimized bodykit. It includes a rear diffusor, new sideskirts, new front bumpers and a huge rear wing which should get you some downforce. Surprisingly, the suspension will be donated from the stock R8.

It sure looks great and if the lap times are right, it is sure to be a great competitor against Porsche’s 997 GT3. As you may already know, Porsche is literally dominating the GT3 series. I’m so looking forward to see this thing lapping arround!

I do. I clearly do. And besides guzzling away your paycheck within an hour, this challenger has that brute power and look you’d expect from a mo-town muscle car.

The 6.1L VEMI engine gets an increase to 575hp. If you’re crazy enough, you may drive the car up to 725hp @ 750lb-ft with additional upgrades. Those engine upgrades will cost you up to $29,500 alone and only 25 of them will be built in 2008.

Generally you should also obtain some big brakes along with a big engine upgrade. You don’t want to spend those big bucks just to land in jail at the next crosswalk. So you will have to pay another 46k to get a KW suspension kit, larger anti-roll bars, unique StopTech brakes and new bushings. Of course all of these pricings are not counting in the stock car itself that you will have to provide. Be ready to stack over 100k for the whole package.

Bad news first: This tuned M3 Cabrio won’t be getting any more horsepower than the stock M3 with its V8 engine. They are just not touching the engine - yet. There are still good news though: This one will also be carrying a race suspension which was fine-tuned on the Nürburgring by AC Schnitzer’s Technical Manager, Manfred Wollgarten.

The front part of the car is getting a new carbon-fiber spoiler, some aluminium touches and a new air intake made by AC Schnitzer. They also bring in new sideskirts and a new rear bumper with some carbon-fiber touches. The convertible will also be available with new custom-made 20 inch rims.

Now thats a good looking beemer!
