The german guys from Edo Competition took on the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and made it even faster. With a 0-60 time of 3,2 seconds and a vmax of ~224mph there won’t be many cars capable of keeping up with this beast on german Autobahns.
Delivered horsepower by the 6.5 liter V12 engine is increased from 640 to 710. Torque output is now even more insane: The LP710 brings on 516 lb-ft of pure power that will help you to achieve 125mph under 10 seconds.
These performance specs are achieved with many modifications on the original LP640. High flow filiters, performance camshafts, upgraded cylinder heads and a completely reworked exhaust system helps to turn the angry bull into a complete beast. While the LP640 comes as an all wheel drive supercar from the factory, the LP710 got a rear wheel drive and lost 40kgs in the process.
How about a soundgasm? Check out the Edo-Competition LP710/2 movie.
I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan when it comes to Murcielagos. Sexy front, huge back. I do recognize that Lambo’s uber-Supercar does indeed provide huge performance and is something exclusive to many people. But… I’d seriously grab a Gallardo first.
ricdes is just another guy that loves cars. Oh, he also owns this site and is running it all by himself.
